Certified snow pros guide you through easy-to-understand steps to improve your riding in this one-hour lesson. Get skilled instruction for three riders, new to expert, ages 8 and up. Under 8 years of age? Book a Parent and Tot lesson for ages 3-4, a private lesson for ages 4 and up, or a two-person semi-private lesson for ages 6 and up. To ensure that we correctly group your lesson participants, you may only purchase one 3 Participant Semi-Private in each transaction. If you would like additional 3 Participant Semi-Privates, please book them in separate transactions.

Our certified snow pros will guide you through easy-to-understand steps to improve your riding skills. Get skilled one-on-one instruction for new riders to experts.

Each Semi-Private Lesson includes complimentary Lesson Lift Tickets for the lesson participants. 

During the lesson, the Lesson Lift Tickets are valid for all lifts at the discretion of the instructor. Outside of the lesson, the ticket is valid only on the Handle Tow.

You have the option to upgrade to a full area, 9am – 4pm lift ticket for $45.00/ person online at time of lesson purchase, or before or after the lesson at Guest Services. Upgrade lift tickets are not available for children 5 & Under as their ticket already provides for full area access with a paying adult.

For weekend and holiday lessons, please book ahead. (Drop-ins are welcome, but instructors may not always be available. Pre-registering is strongly recommended.)  Weekday lessons are by appointment only.

Private lessons are available at 9:30 am, 10:45 am, 12:30 pm,  1:45 pm and 3:00 pm during the holidays and at  9:45 am, 11:00am, 12:30pm, 1:45 pm and 3:00pm midseason.

While our instructors will work to help each participant reach their personal goals, more attention may be given to younger and less skilled participants. In addition, terrain choices will be made with respect to the safety of the weakest rider.

Private Lesson Cancellation Credit Schedule:

  • Credit will be issued in the form of a Smart Voucher redeemable in person or online for Hidden Valley products.
  • Full credit will be issued for cancellations up to 1 month before the lesson date.
  • A 75% credit will be issued for cancellations between 1 month and 7 days before the lesson date
  • A 50% credit will be issued for cancellations between 7 days and the day prior to the lesson date.
  • The day of the lesson, a 50% credit will be issued with medical documentation.
